We were in search of a second GSP to accompany our 7 year old GSP and Laura was recommended to us. We were fortunate as all her litter had been homed and she had one dog left. We found Laura to be extremely attentive to her pups and our boy was full of bounce, extremely healthy and partially house trained. We love the GSP breed as they’re so affectionate, intelligent, loyal and Laura has managed to breed a dog with all these wonderful characteristics who is also very laid back and not at all anxious when left alone. He quickly fitted into our family... we couldn’t be more happy!

She provided us with first class advice and recommendations as we navigated the road to owning our first puppy and two years on we’re still in touch. Our puppy (not so small anymore) is the centre of the family and we couldn’t be happier with him.

I have had my Sparkenhoe puppy just under a year. He is the most adorable boy - very good natured and intelligent. Laura has bred beautiful puppies. From choosing the right one for you and your family, to support from picking up to the present day - I would highly recommend every time.

As first time GSP owners, we really valued the help and support Laura gave us, both prior to and after the pups arrived. Laura knows her dogs and helped us to pick our first (and second!) pup from her foundation bitch, Tilly. We have had both a bitch and a dog from Tilly, each with very different personalities and both are an absolute joy to live with. They really are the easiest dogs - highly trainable and great with kids, other dogs and cats - pretty much everything! Both our dogs are extremely healthy and Laura keeps up to date with all of her pups' owners and is always on hand and happy to answer any questions we have. I would thoroughly recommend one of Laura's pups to become part of your family - working, showing or pet - they cover all the bases!!

My first breeder made me aware of Laura and her GSP litter and I was lucky enough to be able to give a home to one of her beautiful puppies. Laura’s guidance, advice and support has been invaluable, ensuring the integration of a lively puppy into a hectic family with a 3 year old GSP went smoothly. I was under no illusions that it would be hard work but, under Laura’s constant, positive encouragement it’s been a fantastic experience. Laura has a wealth of knowledge and is only too willing to pass on her years of experience. She has been patient and generous in her ongoing advice and feedback, at no point being judgemental, which is what makes her such a great mentor and breeder. Her appreciation of what makes a beautiful temperament in a dog is also key. She clearly cares and is passionate about what she does and in turn has given us a loving, biddable, gentle, character-filled "Clover" as a result.

Laura is a wonderful breeder and has beautiful dogs. She’s very knowledgeable about the process and was happy to answer any of our questions and give us advice on raising a GSP. She took the time to get to know us and our circumstances before agreeing to sell us a puppy, which speaks volumes for the care and respect she has for her animals and for the breeding process. Laura is very helpful and knowledgeable. She cares deeply for her dogs and wants to ensure that her puppies get the best lives possible. Clive & I decided to look for a brother or sister for our 4 ½ year old GSP Toby and we were recommended by Toby’s breeder to contact Laura at Sparkenhoe Kennels. She was very helpful and we chatted on the phone about our situation and what we were hoping to do. Straightaway she offered advice on how best to proceed and we felt at ease with her professionalism and commitment to finding the best forever homes for the puppies. It was a shame that the pandemic affected the normal process of visits and puppy selection but we felt confident that Laura would sort it all out with everyone’s best interests at heart. She kept all prospective owners in touch with the litters by sending pics and videos on Whats App and we felt that we knew a little about them all. When we went up to collect our little bundle of joy Laura was there on hand to answer any queries that we had and we left on our homeward journey happy with everything. Our puppy, Luna May is a healthy, happy and confident pup that has obviously benefitted from the experiences in Laura’s home and we cannot thank her enough for letting us take her to her forever home with us. As first time GSP owners, we can’t recommend Laura enough! Her knowledge and experience is second to none, and her support has been invaluable. Prior to our boy coming along, we met Laura and all of her lovely dogs, including Tilly our pup's mum. This was such a great day, it gave us the opportunity to really get to know the breed and Laura, and see the dogs out on a walk, around other dogs and in the home etc. During Tilly’s pregnancy, Laura sent us regular updates and pics, offering constant advice, and passing on knowledge. She very quickly sussed out their personalities and ensured we were the right fit for our pup and vice versa. Our boy has been an absolute joy, we couldn’t be more in love with him. I don’t think I have ever met a dog so intelligent! He’s absolutely gorgeous, very well natured and not to mention hilarious. Laura’s knowledge and expertise really shows because he’s so well put together; perfect in every way really!

For years we had planned to welcome a GSP into our home, but as first time GSP owners we wanted to find the right breeder…and we certainly found that in Laura. From the first phone call we felt we had found the right fit. Laura is extremely knowledgeable, loves all of her dogs and cares about finding the right home for her pups. We found the whole process leading up to bringing our pup home fantastic. Being a busy, active family with young children, Laura expertly picked us a boy from the long-awaited litter who has fit into our home so beautifully. Our Sparkenhoe GSP, Vesper, is now 6 months old. We felt an instant connection when we met with Laura who walked her dogs with us, gave us lots of information and really got to know us before inviting us to have one of the pups from Tilly's litter. She, and the extended Sparkenhoe folk, have been a constant support since and we have valued her advice as the breeder of these wonderful dogs. She choose an absolutely perfect dog for us with our young family. She is good natured, fun and loyal. Everywhere we go people stop us to ask about her. We couldn’t be happier.
